Islamic Curriculum

All most all of our teachers in the Islamic Curriculum are graduates with degrees in Islamic Theology and/or qualified Huffaz from recognised British Islamic institutions.

Alimiyyah New Structure-at a glance
AIM:

1. To create a structure and curriculum that caters to a greater number of pupils of varied academic abilities.

2. To equip pupils enrolling on to the LIS Alim and Hifz course to leave at the end of Y11 with sufficient knowledge and ability to

a. lead salah,

b. deliver khutbah,

c. prepare and deliver short talks,

d. be competent enough to recite Quran and  teach tajweed and basic Islamic knowledge.

STRUCTURE:

1st three years everyone studies the same subjects. Then only the most competent will go into Arbi Awwal. The rest will continue with the Islamic Science programme.

Tahfiz Structure
OBJECTIVE:

> Students to memorize the entire Qur’an with all Tajweed rules addition to acquiring essential knowledge of Deen.

> Be observant Muslims.

> Lead Taraweeh

> Perform Jummah Salah

To allow capable students to go on the full Alim course from A Awwal Y10. This new structure will allow us to choose the most capable and committed boys for the full time Alim course who will continue to complete the course at LIS.

We follow the curriculum of the Darse Nizami mainly in English medium. Most of the textbooks are in modern English with clear glossary, meaning and layout. The following subjects are taught in the Islamic Curriculum:
