Starting of LIS

Alhamdulillah, LIS was established by Esha'atul Islam in September 1999 under the auspices of Maulana Thohur Uddin.  It has been running successfully as a full time secondary school and madrasah by the grace of Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala with the dua, support, help and co-operation from Muslim brothers, sisters and parents/guardians.  In our first year we started with 40 students in year groups 7 and 8. In the second year we had approximately 95 students on roll in year groups 7, 8 and 9. Currently we have 118 students on roll in years 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 who are receiving academic education under 17 experienced teachers/staff covering madrasah and some of the national curriculum subjects.
